Spa 101

Gratuity

Gratuity is not included in the price for our spa services. Tipping is 100% optional, but is gladly accepted for a treatment well done. Gratuities typically range from 20-25% of the treatment price or more, if you experience exceptional service.

Medical & Health Conditions

To better serve you, please let us or your service provider — massage therapist, or esthetician — know if you are pregnant, or have any of the following issues: muscle or joint injuries, heart condition, high/low blood pressure, diabetes, fever, contagious skin condition or any other medical issue.

Also inform them if you are using Retin-A, Accutane, or any photosensitizing or keratolytic medications, or have recently had laser or plastic surgery. Any of the above scenarios may affect our ability to treat you.

Etiquette

To ensure a serene, relaxing experience for all of our guests, we kindly ask that you turn off your cell phone ringer upon arrival at the spa and refrain from taking phone calls while in the spa.

Cancellation Policies

How Early Should You Arrive to the Spa?

You should arrive 15-20 minutes before your appointment to finalize any outstanding paperwork and unwind in our relaxation room. If you are running late, we may need to shorten your treatment to accommodate for the next scheduled appointment.

What is Our Cancellation Policy?

24 Hour Cancellation Policy

We understand that life can be busy and unexpected things happen. So, if you need to reschedule or cancel your spa appointment, Cherry Blossoms Day Spa requires 24 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment. If you cancel within the 24 hour period, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $25. If the price of your scheduled service is less than $25, you will only be charged the full service price.

No-Show Policy

Because we are reserving the room and service provider time, if you do not arrive at your appointment and have not cancelled your service within the 24 hours cancellation period, we will need to charge the full service price to the payment method on file to ensure our employees are properly compensated for their time.

Reservations Requiring a Deposit

If you have more than 3 cancellations during the 24 hour cancellation period or more than 3 no-shows, a 50% deposit will be required to book all future services. Deposits are non-refundable and will be credited to your account for future appointments. To reschedule or cancel your appointment, please call us at 512-332-2600.

Day Spa Basics

Waxing 101

For optimal results and a more comfortable experience, hair should be between 1/4″ and 1/2″ in length. After waxing you may experience some redness - this is normal. For 24 hours post-hair removal, we recommend avoiding contact with salt water, pools or jacuzzis. We also recommend avoiding sweating or physical exertion to avoid the chances of a bacterial infection.

Massage 101

Prior to your massage or facial, your service provider will exit the room for you to get dressed down to your comfort level. Some people choose to undress completely, and some chose to keep their undergarments on. During a massage treatment, our massage therapists use a draping technique where the therapist will use the sheet to cover the entire body, except for the body part that is actively being worked on. Our expert therapists customize every session to match your preferences and needs. Whether you're seeking relaxation or targeting specific areas, we adapt techniques, pressure, and ambiance to ensure your ultimate comfort. Communication is key; don't hesitate to let your therapist know if something feels uncomfortable.

Facial 101

During your facial, you can anticipate a thorough skin analysis by our skilled estheticians, who will tailor the treatment to your unique skin type and concerns. You'll luxuriate in a serene environment as we cleanse, exfoliate, and nourish your skin using premium products. After your facial, you can expect your skin to feel refreshed and hydrated. Some clients may experience mild redness, which usually subsides within a few hours, revealing a revitalized and glowing complexion that radiates well-being.

Group Packages

How many people make up a group?

When scheduling services for 2 or more guests, it is considered a group booking. We have five treatment rooms where we can host up to 5 people at the same time, or we can offer multiple times throughout the day to accommodate larger groups. Whatever your needs, we look forward to hosting you!

How Do I Reserve For a Group?

To inquire or reserve for a group, please call us at 512-332-2600.

For group reservations we do require a non-refundable deposit to book. 

For groups of 3 or more guests, we require a notice of one week for cancellation of appointments.

Gift Certificates

What are the Gift Certificate Terms & Conditions?

Gift Certificates are nonrefundable. If you are not able to use your certificate for a service, you may redeem it for products for store credit or transfer it to someone else. If you prefer a different package or service, we can help you to adjust it. Gift Certificates may be purchased  for a specific dollar amount, specific service or package. They may be purchased in the spa or through our online store. Gift cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
