COVID-19 RESPONSE & SAFETY PROTOCOLS - updated 04/24/2021


At Cherry Blossoms Spa, we appreciate our clients for choosing us for their spa services. We have always taken responsibility for our client’s safety and sanitation is the highest of priorities. For your best experience, we have kept our processes seamless, so your focus can be on your experience. With the concerns surrounding COVID-19, it is understandable that clients want to know what our processes are. We will share our safety protocols, some new, some long standing and if any questions remain, feel free to call or email for clarification. Our contact information is at the end of the page.

Hours & Scheduling Options

  • We are open Tuesday – Friday 10 am to 6 pm and Saturday 10 am to 4:30 pm.

  • Our full menu of spa treatments, is available on our website.

  • Appointments are available online or by phone.

  • If you are unable to find the appointment time that you desire, feel free to call us. We may be able to make an adjustment that will make it possible.



  1. Online: Shop for HydroPeptide, Rhonda Allison and LeMieux skin care products in our  online store. Choose your items, prepay and select hold for pickup. Our staff will select your items and have them ready for your arrival. Cherry Blossoms Spa Gifts Certificates are also available online 24/7.

  2. Curbside: We are happy to bring your purchases to your car. Order online and select hold for pickup. Call (512) 332-2600 when you arrive and we will bring it out.

  3. In-Spa: Our retail areas are open for you to stock up on your favorite products & gifts. To minimize contact, our staff will take your selections to the counter for purchase. Face masks are requested.


The Guest Experience:



  • Paperwork is required for all new guests and those who have not completed an intake in the last 12 months. We are happy to email an intake form to you that you can complete, print and bring with you. If you choose to fill out paperwork onsite, please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment so that you have plenty of time before the appointment starts.

    • All of our pens and clipboards are sterilized after each use.

    • We sanitize folding metal chairs with approved sanitation wipes and use a UV wand to sanitize our cloth covered chairs.

    • Door handles and all common touchpoints are sanitized regularly.

    • The restroom is sanitized throughout the day.

  • Advance payment and tipping is an option.

  • Additional guests are not permitted to wait in the spa. Please make arrangements prior to your appointment for childcare.

  • Please stay home if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have had known close contact within anyone who has within 14 days of your appointment. Do the same if you are coughing, experiencing difficulty breathing, or have a fever of 100.4 degrees. We’ll happily re-schedule you for a future visit.



  • Masks: Following CDC guidelines, masks are optional for guests. Service providers and staff will continue to wear masks at this time.​

  • Masks are available if you happen to forget yours. Please call and we will meet you at the door with a mask.

  • Temperature update: We will no longer take your temperature when you enter the spa. We ask that you take personal responsibility for rescheduling an appointment if you have any symptoms or could be contagious with any illness.

  • Hand sanitizer is available when you enter the spa.

  • For the safety of all, practice social distancing in our common spaces.

  • No need to touch anything at check-out. Just insert your card and slide it back out — no signature necessary. We are also sanitizing the desk after every guest check-out.

Enhanced Safety Protocols

We have elevated our already hyper clean, safety first protocols with expert guidance from:  the Centers for Disease Control (CDC),  Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR), International Spa Association (ISPA), Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP) and State of Texas.

As you’ll read below, every touchpoint is addressed in detail. We thought it best to provide full transparency under the circumstances.



You’re in good hands with our talented professionals. Here’s what to expect during your treatment:

  • Our staff will be wearing masks at all times.

  • All service providers are required to wash their hands before and after every guest service.

  • All treatment rooms are sanitized between each guest service, including surface areas and handles.

  • As always, every guest service features fresh sheets, head cradle covers, and towels. All soft goods — linens, robes, towels, etc. — are laundered with hot water + bleach after each use.



The health and well-being of the Cherry Blossoms Spa team is always our top priority. Our new employee policies help maximize their safety and yours.

  • All employees undergo a daily temperature check

  • Cherry Blossoms Spa is providing personal protective gear to all team members including face masks, gloves and hand sanitizer. All employees are required to wear a face mask (over mouth + nose) at all times.

  • Employees must wash their hands frequently and diligently, per CDC guidelines

Our commitment to our employee’s well-being is unwavering, whether we are open or closed. We thought you might like to know that:

  • We have created a new position, our Spa Attendants; to oversee all protocols are consistently followed.

  • We provide our employees with supplements to support their health.

  • Employees are included in developing protocols to support their safety.



The standards for cleanliness and hygiene have always been top priority at Cherry Blossoms Spa. We’ve amped up the frequency and stringency of our cleaning protocols both in-room and in our common spaces — lobbies, retail areas, relaxation rooms, and staff areas.

  • All surfaces are cleaned frequently, along with the most commonly touched objects like door handles. Our cleaning solution is medical grade and kills 99.9% of bacteria & viruses.

  • Anti-microbial spray that kills viruses is sprayed regularly.

  • UV sanitizing light wands are being swept across products and keyboards.

  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout the spa for guest and staff use

  • We have replaced fruit water with water bottles to go.

  • It's worth repeating, all soft goods — linens, robes, towels, etc. — are laundered with hot water + bleach after use.
